Dr Micheal Henry

Rev. Michael Henry was ordained as a minister in 1965 after attaining a Diploma in Theology through Calvary Bible Institute. Thereafter after having served for seven years under the South African Evangelistic Mission, he stepped out independently as a pioneer evangelist in his community in 1972.

His ministry reached nations far and wide both locally and internationally proclaiming the gospel of Christ from humble villages in rural Kwa-Zulu Natal  in South Africa to large congregations in America; UK; Australia; the Fijian Islands; India and Europe to name a few.

In 1986, The International Bible Institute and Seminary – USA, awarded him the degree of ‘Doctor of Divinity,’ in recognition of two decades of consistent service in the spreading of the gospel. After which Dr Henry put his vast experience in the mission field to good use and in 1988 Logos Bible College was born out of a desire to equip the Christian community with missionary skills. Students from different denominations graduated from Logos Bible College to become laymen; ministers and community outreach workers.

The year 1995 saw Dr Michael Henry in a new phase of career development through his appointment as a member of parliament - thus enhancing his knowledge of democracy.  At parliament he attended several training programmes at the Damelin Institute of Learning.  After a short time in parliamentary service he returned to his passion.
